Subject: My thoughts on BMWe30.net and its future

Gus,

We are all very thrilled and relieved that you have resurfaced. Your amazing website has created such strong relationships among its many users that many of us felt lost without it:) Most of us have never met one another but we care about the well being of others and thrive off the shared knowledge and experiences. Therefore I feel we each have a part in making BMWe30.net and BEN continue to thrive.

Here are some questions I raise...

How feasible is it to break up the site content onto different servers?

Are there features we can live without to decrease the bandwidth?

Do you have a breakdown of what uses the most bandwidth?

How much storage is required to host BMWe30.net?

I am looking into the possibility of hosting files on a server which I would provide. I would set it up at work as the connection is generally unlimited. We are upgrading to switched gigabit to the desktop right now.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks,

Mark
