First off, Glad to hear from you Gus. We were fearing the worst. On vacation, it seems so obvious now. How silly of us to worry so much.

About BEN,
I think the idea of hosting on several servers is a good idea because it splits up the bandwith and storage making it very low cost if enough people volunteer services and resources. The combined efforts of people like Jordan, Toby, and Jaffar could very well support a full blown BEN.

The biggest problem with it is communication between each person helping to run the show. This can lead to unresolved problems that are slow to be fixed and with many more resources they are likely to go down more often taking some part of the site with them. People can also bail on you without notice.

However, because of the strong sense of community around here this might not be such a big deal.
