Subject: How does the aux fan system work?

My A/C sucks. It's charged and I changed the fan clutch less than a year ago. I know that the A/C turns the fan on low but isnt it supposed to go to high at 190? I know that ther are 2 switches on the radiator that turn the fan to low at 190 and high at 210 and I jumpered them to find that both fan speeds work. If the A/C is on and the low temp switch closes isnt the fan supposed to go to high, or just stay at low?

If it's supposed to stay at low until the coolant reaches 210 then how is the fan wired into the A/C system? I want to maybe have the A/C turn the fan ot high instead of low. It's being a hot summer this year and I need some relief, my A/C works fine until 95 then it seems like it isnt even on.

p.s. my engine is always about a mm low of halfway, it hasnt gone above half since I placed the fan clutch.
