When I bought my E30, there was a small air freshener bottle glued on top of the dashboard. I noticed that the fluid inside was steeply banked in corners, so I actually marked it with a pen to use it as a G force indicator. Unfortunately it didn't work for long, as the fluid level was constantly sinking as the fluid evaporated.

Besides, it was never accurate, since the body roll of the car makes it measure gravity, and the scale is banked the wrong way. That is why the G-tech is useless for measuring lateral forces too.
