Subject: what to do about a rusted out broken cat/exhaust

my cat and down tube are all rusty, and separated at some parts on my 325e. whats the easiest cheapest way to fix this? could i go to like midas and get them to patch it all up, how much do parts like this usually cost? ive never taken my bimmer in to get parts put on, but from what ive heard, i better be prepared to get raped on the prices.
