Subject: Custom Stainless Exhaust Questions

I'm considering putting on a custom exhaust on my car.

I'm looking to get a freeflow cat and some Borla mufflers with dual 2.5" piping the whole way. Has anyone done any similar work on your E30 (88 325is BTW)? How much can I expect to pay for just the 2.5" piping (not including the cat and the mufflers)? Does anyone make a stainless cat or does it make sense to get one? Is there any free flow cat I should look at more than others? Anything to be careful on?
