Rev limiter, or something else?

I think that either my rev limiter is kicking in a bit to early, or I have some other problem. I took a short video of the car when it happens, instead of trying to describe it. At about 5,500 RPM, it is like it is just being stopped cold. Up to that point it runs like a top.
