Do you have a pickle fork? That will help. I struggled with mine for about a day (ie. 10 hrs or so), and then they finally came off, it was a MAJOR pita for me...I ended up destroying both boots and just got new CA's anyway (they both had over 250,000km on them!)...just soak everything in liquid wrench and then beat like hell.
