Coppery crimson filly dances gracefully, flawlessly on tiny toes, prancing and leaping like a flickering little flame, a beacon of light. She rears and tears at the air ferociously with small, flinty hooves, her silky little rivers swirling and whipping with the wind and her energy. Nostrils flaring, she gives a wild little scream and attacks an imaginary foe, charging at an invisible enemy. After the enemy has been vanquished, she begins to dance again, legs weaving and lifting effortlessly in an intricate pattern seemingly impossible for an equine. Spirit burns in her large dark eyes, as she prances, entranced by a world only she can see. She dances for the gods, in a light, pure fashion that shows she is a devadasi.
