Hey, where did you get the CD from - because I as well placed an order from Amazon.ca and received a notice today that there is a delay in shipping the item ! I guess if you did get the actual CD then it did in fact come out in Canada yesterday but Amazon just doesn't have it yet...that would be my guess.
I have heard the whole CD (except for the last minute of FADE TO BLACK) and it is KILLER ! It basically sounds like a CD of ten hit singles, to be honest with you. A couple songs do remind me of WILDSIDE while some of it reminds me of a Reno solo album, but it's all very radio-ready and very catchy. They are definitely going for airplay with this one, and that's not a bad thing - they deserve it.
I read an interview with Mike and he said ALIVE is a great song but it just didn't fit with the record as a whole. It happens. That's where I read that they were making that one and a couple other tracks available as a digital dowload but I'm not sure where or how . Maybe an access code enclosed within the CD when you purchase it - not sure.
I definitely think everyone will enjoy the CD though - now if only I could get my actual copy I'll enjoy it even more !
