Having been to Loverboy concerts in both America and Canada, I cannot say that, personally, I have seen a difference in the size of crowd nor "joe fan".
I think the particular venue/town they play in has the most influence on audience. Been to outside venues, indoor venues, fairs, headlining events, etc. and have to say the best show I have seen Loverboy (recently) perform (twice) was at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut!
