I did receive a nice reply, and the email stated that they have not passed Loverboy up, but that they have a lot of bands they are reviewing and can only induct a few at a time each year. I do believe Loverboy's time will come, "It's just a matter of time." By the way, I am a US citizen, and voiced my opinion to Canadians for Canadian Rock! One thing that does bother me is that one of the local stations in Vancouver, who considers themselves "classic rock" has totally and completely overlooked adding or recognizing Loverboy on their playlist. I viewed their "Top 1000 Songs" of Classic Rock, and not ONE song from Loverboy was on the list...not ONE. Now, Bryan Adams, Streetheart, and Chilliwack were all on the list. What's the deal??? Stations here in the USA totally dig Loverboy and play them on all the classic rock stations, including the 80's stations. I don't know...your guess is as good as mine.
