Hi mls!
As you will have seen by the time you read this, that The Goat in fact just won (earlier this month) the 2003 NAB International Broadcasting Excellence Award! They still kick major butt (as far as I am concerned anyway!) as far as radio stations around here go! I thought it must have been quite awhile since Loverboy played in the maritimes. I hope that they have more than just the one date, in Nfld. Any chance you could make that into a "vacation"--going to see them in Nlfd that is, should that end up being the only place they do get to out there? Yes, I like the bar/fair tours much better myself as I find that there is a much more "personal" feel between fans and the band. Plus, now we get the chance to chat with them afterwards! We couldn't do that when they were touring the big stadiums, unless we happen to be the lucky winners (or SOMEHOW managed to get a hold) of backstage passes. I'll keep the "radio station" idea in mind! And I'll keep hoping that you will somehow get to see the guys this summer!! It's a "trip!!! Nikia
