Author: Nikia [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 22:02:40 05/15/03 Thu For the second straight year, most Canadian fans will have to go without having their chance to see Loverboy. Don't get me wrong, I AM very happy for those fans in St. Johns, Windsor and Trois Riviers. (I know that the fans in Nfld. have waited a looooooong time to see them!!). As Canadian fans of this Canadian band, many of us have had a lot of chances to see the band over the past years and have come to take it for granted that we will see them on a yearly (or so) basis. Unfortunately, that has not been the case in the past couple of summers. However, there IS something we CAN do. I would like to encourage the fans in this country to talk to their local venues about having Loverboy. What could be more simple than phoning or even e-mailing your venues and ASKING?? It certainly couldn't hurt! It would be another way in which the fans in Canada can show our continued support for the band...simply by requesting them at our local venues!
