Fade in…
The scene opens on a four-lane, one way street. Traffic is very heavy with large numbers of transport trucks. The camera pans up and around you and see rod mills, coke ovens, and large clouds of crud going into the air. A large sign on the other side of the road says property of Stelco Steel. No Trespassing. A truck whizzes by within inches of the cameraman, carrying coils of cold rolled steel. It is obvious to the viewer that they are seeing the east-end of Hamilton, Ontario, the steel capital of North America. The camera finishes it’s circle coming around to a chain link fence and a padlocked gate. A sign hangs on this gate also, you can see where it used to say Dofasco Steel but now, it says property of Greg Davies.
There he is. Dan, buddy, down here!
The camera shows Bobby McCann about 500 yards away, leaning out of another gate and waving. As Dangerious Dan walks toward the proper gate he points the camera through the fence. In the distance is an industrial building that looks vaguely like an airport hanger. Beside the building are parked a black stretch limo, a red Dodge 4x4 and a black Porsche 911.
It’s about time you got here. We’ve been waiting for three hours.
Sorry, my flight was delayed.
Well let’s hustle, we’re going to the Leaf game tonight, and want to get this out of the way.
McCann jogs off, the camera swings down and Dan follows him at a trot. Bobby is wearing salt stained black sweats. He looks like he’s been working out pretty hard. When they reach the door to Davies’ “house” Dan is gasping but Hammer is not even breathing heavily. The door is of 10’ high sliding variety.
Why would a guy with millions live here???
The door is ripped open. The Ironman is standing inside dressed the same as McCann with a towel over his shoulders.
The neighbors don’t complain when I have wild parties.
(Laughter.) The camera pans again to show the industrial wasteland.
Come on in. Want a beer?
The Camera pans around the interior, it is absolutely HUGE inside. A bar stands against the south wall next to a stage. This room resembles a large nightclub. Davies flips on the stage lights then returns with three mugs of draft.
Wow, this is some place.
Thanks. Why don’t we get down to business.
As you all know, We are in the tournament for the World Tag-Team championships. I’m not sure but there should be tourney matches on Friday.
We’re going into this match to win it. We’re all professionals out there. There will be no hard feelings no matter how things turn out.
What about President Vengeance and his Dream Team?
We’re not particularly worried about the Cream Team. We have a little insurance policy against Vengeance’s goons.
By the way we haven’t heard from the AoA in quite a while.

Rumor has it one of them is injured, that’s why they’ve been so quiet.
Huh… Makes sense I guess.
What about the Revolution?
They’re not even worth the saliva it would take to spit on them.
And the new Freak show?
Those two will be a tougher challenge. We’ll give them a shot at our belts in time.
So you’re assuming you’re going to win on Shocknight? That’s awfully cocky, isn’t it? There will be other excellent teams in the tourney.
You can’t go into a match planning on losing. If you do that you will lose for sure. Attitude is everything. We’ve always been winners; we’re certainly not going to stop now.
All of a sudden the lights go out…
To be continued….
