Yes, you are right that immigrants are people, can be heroes in the society we live in, but I really think you missed the point. I belong to a group since 2003 that is fighting Illegal immigration.

We look at the greater picture as to the impact of MILLIONS of people not here legally have on our system not just the few who happen to be the "heroes" you are talking about.

As to the Marathon bombers and using them as an example to stop illegal immigration I don't even go there.

Your article proves one thing, there are so many illegal immigrants in our society that you can be riding in the Boston tunnels, be at a marathon, in a store ANYWHERE and the odds are in your favor that an illegal immigrant will be there. This tells us that we have a serious problem.

You look at the immigration problem in an emotional way, I look at the illegal immigration problem as a financial and numbers game. You really need to do your home work and start seeing the CRIMES that happen at the hands of Illegal immigrants. Twenty Five people a DAY are killed by Illegal immigrants. Thirteen just by those driving illegally, not to mention the children/adults attacked by sex crimes. So your picture is a partial picture on the whole topic.

"An estimated 9,000 American citizens are killed every year by illegal aliens. That's 25 American citizens per day killed by illegal aliens, averaging 12 by stabbings and shootings and 13 by DUI and related crimes."

Do a search for Crime and Illegal aliens and see what you come up with. Your rosy picture to put these few heroes and group ALL illegal immigrants in the same sentence is not going to work for me.

They put out information dealing with many of the problems associated with Illegal Immigrants and also something not much talked about, the NUMBERS and in the next 30 years we will have over 100 Million people added to our country, most of them by immigration. This is an untold nightmare that is going to strangle our infrastructure in many many ways.

It is NOT being discussed except by a few including Frosty Wooldridge, go look him up in a web search. HE sees the future of America, and it is not looking good in thirty years.

So to close, be fair, if you are going to deal with immigrants deal with the whole topic, the good and bad. Unfortunately in my research the bad far out-ways the good sorry to say.

I did a few Youtube videos showing the Boston Globe stand on Illegal immigration through articles showing the Globes articles as nonsense.

We really don't need Immigration reform, we need common sense enforcement. We can still get the heroes but at least they will be Citizens.
