Subject: < The Night's Sapphire Lover >

< He circled for a time above the terrain, his dark eyes searching for a place to land. After a few minutes more, his gaze came across an out of the way area where the mountain's shadow fell heavily. Banking his wings sharply, he slipped into a dive. The wind rushed past him, and he drew in his wings so as to descend with an even greater speed. Only ten or twenty feet above, his wings flipped open, and his body swung from its tight angle to land softly upon the sand. >

< He looked around, his body still as he studied his surroundings. The mountain in particular caught his interest, and he stared up at it through half-lidded eyes. In the shadow of the mighty structure it was cool, but he could imagine that it was quite hot out there on the open sands -- quite a contrast to his previous visit. Softly he turned, his dark blue gaze moving along the sands to search for other dragons. It had been so long that he was almost nervous at the prospect of meeting his fellow creatures. Thus he remained where he was, hesitating to move forward. >
