Subject: Question about Lucy Adams listing.

Hi. I am a descendant of James Adams and Cecily Ford's son James Adams and his wife Jenny Cunningham through thier son William Henry Adams and his 2nd wife Sarah Head. William Henry and Sara Head Adams's daughter Lucy was my gg grandmother. I found it interesting though that you listed Lucy as Lucinda (Lucy) Elizabeth Adams.

Her daughter (my great-grandmother Laura Emily Hoye) always listed her mother as Lucy Emily Adams in old family letters, even stating that her middle name was the same as her mother's on various occasions.

Also, Lucy was born in 1831, not 1835, according to her tombstone in Newton Co., MS.

Anyway, I was just wondering where you had found her name as Lucinda Elizabeth Adams. Thanks for your help!
