The paperwork clearly states Connie has the right to final say on all decisions. She chooses the winner if she doesn’t agree with the judges. It wouldn’t be much better with Maria if she took it over. She already judges her girls in other pageants and chooses them. Perfect example was county fair. She judged and several of her girls made top. They lied about using her as a coach, but it came out in the end when she post d this year about them being her girls. So tired of the “who ya know” crap. Only fair system in Ky are Ky US, Ky Teen America, and depending on who judges, Festivals. Dianne Turner never picks a winner but gets judges who already have opinions of girls or who follow the circuits or are directors themselves. IJM seemed fair but it’s only been one year. NAM Ky seems fair. None of the rest can be won unless you know someone.
