Subject: Back on the Winning Ways

Since our loss on the road on January 16th, we have played two more games, winning them both.

Last Saturday, the 23rd, we picked-up a 100-68 win on the road, it felt good to get back on the winning track. I had a decent night scoring 19 points, grabbing 9 rebounds and blocking 3 shots. I made one 3-point shot, 4 free throws and six two-point shots.

Last night we won at home 78-56. I had a good night scoring 21 points, grabbing 5 rebounds and blocking 2 shits. I made one 3-point basket, 6 free throws and 6 2-point shots.

I can’t believe the basketball season is going so fast. February will soon be here and the tournaments begin in March. The season is just flying by, anyone else think the way I do?

I have been watching some of the NFL playoff games, but not that many. After the Vikings lost out, I lost interest. Any guesses as to who will win the Super Bowl? Right now, I am thinking Carolina. I do not care one way or the others; I just think Carolina has the edge.

My basketball game has two games this weekend, Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The game Friday will be played in the town across the river from the town where Brooks and Wyatt go to college. I know they are coming to the game. Also, it is about 70 miles from home and my parents will be coming.

Saturday we move about 75 miles north and 40 miles east, still near my home. I know my parents are coming to the game along with others. I love this weekend when I can play before my family.
