Hey Petedad,

We were reading what you wrote in response about whether
there possibly was a Chuck Wagon to provide food on your
ancestors' cattle drive, and you mentioned about the Ford
Model A truck 1928 your grandpa had, and an older Ford
Model T truck that were probably used to transport clothes,
bedding, gear and supplies. We think perhaps there was room enough for transporting food, too, instead of the use of a
typical chuck wagon for a more modern-day cattle drive era.

For the Old West Era Years cattle drive we will vote your
ancestors had a typical chuck wagon for transporting food.

(Drew): Keep Mark away from the chuch wagon or chuck
wagon trucks! LOL.

That's neat during your youth you was "cowboy" helping to move cattle from one field to another, 3-5 miles, and you did ride a horse sometimes and a dirt bike? What kind of
dirt bike did you have? Now we know where Wyatt get's his
dirt bike riding ideas from!

HAving and riding on ATVs would be cool to move cattle.
Don't they get spooked from the engine noise? (Sean):
Yeah, you could have a stampede on your hands!

No photos of the cattle drives? Guess there would have to be a family member owning a camera or hiring a photographer to come out to the ranch for taking pictures. Maybe someday some photos will turn up?

Speaking of cattle, there's a ranch not far from here which
raising cattle of the wrong kind raised around here. They
shipped in some of those Texas longhorns. They are selling them for profit, so they must have some facination for that
breed of cattle to raise and sell them. We've seen them by the roadside or not far back in the fields grazing. Boy they have big long horns, and points on the ends of them. A person wouldn't want to get jabbed by one of the points ends of the long horns! Other wise we have the typical breed of cattle raised around here too.

(Drew): Speaking of cattle or cows, did you know when Mark was a little kid he believed jersey cows gave chocolate milk?

(Mark): Shut up, Drew. Stop embarrassing me. I found out the truth later on. I'm not dumb! Say, did your family have any Cowgirls take part in the cattle drives?
