Hi Guys,

Mom understands about my team defeating her school, she did cheer for her own kids when we played high school sports, so it is really no different.

Yes, I have had people come up to me who remembered my playing days and now I am coaching. I see many coaches I used to play against. They are all very friendly and welcomed me to t he coaching community.

It still does seem strange when I am at my old high school and seeing teachers who used to teach me. Even though we are now co-teachers, I still call them them Mr, or Miss - old habits die hard. I still have a lot of respect for some of my old teachers.

Drew, I heard someone with a small butt got himself into foul trouble and had to be benched. I hope he learned and will try to do better.

Fouls sometimes happen, you should try to avoid them, but they happen, especially when someone plays very aggressively.

Fouls happen,, but Technical fouls should be avoided. I told my 9th grade team, Technical fouls will not be tolerated, anyone called with a Technical will get benched for two games. That is the Tanner rule.

Our snow continues to pile up, we picked up some more over the past few days. We now have received 30.5 inches so far. Yeah, I bet it will be a white Christmas at our house.

The student you asked about is doing better, his classroom behavior is improving. I don't believe his Dad spanked him, but did read him the riot act. A couple of time his Dad has stopped by to ask about his behavior, I reported the improvements. Hopefully, things will continue to improve.
