Subject: Christmas Break

Hi,

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

I think Grizzly (with Brady's help) told everyone what happened at our house.

I got some great gifts including jeans, a couple of sweaters, shirts, gift cards, music downloads, etc. I hope everyone had a great time and received some great gifts.

I gave the love of my live a sweater and neckless that she just loves,, it made her so happy.

After the Christmas blizzard and New Years snowstorm, I helped shovel out and clear the driveway and sidewalks of snow. The snow bank in front of our garage door was about 7 feet deep, so it took some shoveling and the snow blower to clear it away.

Just as we got the driveway and sidewalks in shape after the blizzard, we cleaned them again after the New Years Day snowstorm.

I, along with Brooks, Brady and Dad have rose our snowmobiles a lot during break, after working to clear snow it is fun to go play in it too. Kala has also made several outings with me.

The high school varsity basketball team I assist in coaching, participated in a 3-day Holiday Tournament and came away with three wins and First Place. The first game was a blow-out, the second we won by 10 points and the Championship game was close with us winning by 2 points at the buzzer. The boys had a great time and it will prepare them for the rest of the season.

I also called a couple of practices over the break for my 9th grade team We did not play in any games or tournament, but I wanted to keep the guys in shape and think basketball over the long break. We have an away game Thursday (tomorrow night), I want to be ready.

The varsity returns to action Friday evening, our game last (Tuesday) evening was postponed due to the weather. The boys are playing great and that is good, we have some tough games coming soon. It times to find out how good the team is.

We were scheduled to start classes again yesterday (Tuesday) but he weather forced a cancellation.

Again, I am hoping everyone has a great new year.
