Hi Everyone:

It is time for another award winning edition of the Grizzly Report, by me; Grizzly.

It was an awesome weekend for Pheasant Hunting, the weather was great, maybe a little warm. It was sunny, dry and temps in the mid 70s.

After breakfast on Friday morning, Mom, Dad and I loaded up the F-150 and then we took off for the ranch. We stopped along the way to take a break and get a snack. I shared Mom's cookie with her. She also gave me some water to drink and I had a potty break.

We arrived at the ranch by 11:15 and Uncle Cliff and Joan were there to meet and greet us, uncle Cliff is Dad's oldest brother. For lunch we had roast beef sandwiches, chips and macaroni salad. After lunch were toured the ranch with Uncle Cliff. We went for a ride in Cliff's 1941 Chevy pickup, it was fun but very bumpy.

Brooks, Allison, Kaylee, Wyatt and Cassie arrived about 5:30, it was fun tp see them. I gave them all the royal welcome. Lady, Abbey and Reggie were there giving out dog kisses too. Boy, was Reggie ever glad to see Wyatt, I bet he fallowed him around all weekend.

Tanner and Kala arrived around 6:00 and Brady and Amber showed up about 6:20. It was fun t have everyone around.

For dinner we had ham that was slow cooked all day, scalloped potatoes, corn, lettuce salad, and cookies and bars for dessert. I made sure I got my share of the food.

Brooks and I slept in Wyatt's room with Reggie. Brady and Amber, Tanner and Kala went to sleep at Jesse's house in town.

Saturday morning we were up early, and after a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and cold cerel it was time to go hunting.

We hunted until late morning and then went back to the ranch to rest. Dad made sure I had my orange vest on and I also wore my bright orange collar. Normally I wear a red collar, but when I hunt I wear orange.

We hunted again later in the day. It was fun finding birds and chasing them up. It is also great to fetch them too. Poor little Reggie, he was lost out there, he didn't have a clue what to do. I guess he will have to learn, he is still quit young and needs to learn.

Saturday night we hung out in the machine shop, visiting and later eating until we were stuffed. For dinner we had shredded beef, beans, slaw, fresh fruit, macaroni salad, bars, cookies and brownies. awesome food.

I think everyone enjoys hanging out and visiting, just spending time together.

We hunted some more Sunday morning for a while, and then had brunch before leaving for home.

We left bout 2:00 and arrived home about 5:45. It was a fun trip and we enjoyed ourselves. I must say hunting wears me out I slept good every night and took a couple of long naps today, I took a break from guarding our house.

Hallie and I did make a few trips with Dad tot he Dog Park while she visited us.

Amber made chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies.

Brady Man cave is in his basement, it is about 16'x16'. He has a big TV on one wall and comfortable seating so we can stretch out and enjoy watching TV. He has some sport pictures on the wall.

Your fall festival sound awesome, I would be sure to check out the food vendors.

Today we had some light snow, it melted on the street and sidewalks, but you could see some white on the grass. It melted by late this afternoon. I guess it is signs of things to come.
