Hi Everybody:

It is time for another award winning edition of the Grizzly Report, by me: Grizzly.

It has been a busy and scary time since my last report. Dad broke his ankle and is now healing. Mom, Dad and I went to visit grandma to help her celebrate her birthday. Dad, Uncle Joe and I went to inspect some property by the lake Joe and Emily had just bought. While walking in some taller grass, Dad step in a hole and hurt his ankle. He was in a lot of pain and I was scared. We managed to get Dad to the local hospital where an x-ray showed b he had a broken Fibula I am not sure what it I, but it is a bone. They put a cast on Dad’s ankle and he is hobbling around the house on crutches. Today he went to his office for the first time in a week.

Mom and I are busy nursing Dad back t heath. Just like a few years ago when Brooks hurt his ankle playing football. I spent a lot of time lying next to Brooks when he was lying on his bed with his foot in the air surrounded by ice packs, Mom put the ice packs around his ankle.

A while back I went with Mom and Dad to the ranch so they could attend Tanner’s graduation from college. While they attended the ceremony I stayed at the ranch with Abbey and Lady. We had a great time running and playing at the ranch. We jumped in a stock pond, but he water was still quite cold for a swim.

Brooks and Wyatt came to the ranch too, so I got to see and play with them – it was so good to see them again.

We drove out to the ranch on Friday afternoon, graduation was Saturday afternoon and we drove home Sunday afternoon after brunch. Sunday, at the ranch, we had a great meal of scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes and fruit. It filled our tummies for the ride home. Before driving home, we stopped at Tanner’s college and loaded some of his stuff in the box of the F-150, his Ranger was too small to catty all of his and Kala’s stuff home. Kala’s car was packed too.

At the college, I was able to sneak into Tanner’s apartment and see where he was living while at college. It was nice but I didn’t see anything to eat. Lol. I was also able to see my girlfriend Kala, as always she was looking good. I gave everyone the royal welcome home treatment, even though we were not technically at home.

Tanner has been living at our house again, I think he and Kala are thinking about finding an apartment. I am so glad they are home and will be working here and not have t go back to college next fall.

Last Friday, Brady, Tanner and I drove Dad’s F-150 to Brooks’ college to help him bring things home for the summer. Brady drove to the college and Tanner drove us home, I sat in the middle and supervised. With Dad’s broke ankle he could help carry anything.

Brooks is now home for the summer and will be living at our house, I am so glad. Brooks will be sleeping in my room. Actually, it was his room before he moved to college and I took it over.

I am so glad to have my boys home again, the house is fuller. Out=r neighborhood is fuller again with Trent and Jonah being home too. Kala has been over to visit me too, she brought me a rawhide chew bone. I wonder how she know I love them.

Last Saturday night we had a family cook-out. Brady grilled the steaks, burgers and hotdogs on our grill while Dad watched. We also had scalloped potatoes, beans, slaw, lettuce salads and fruit to eat. Later we had brownies and cookies for dessert.

Brooks and I are getting back into our routine of eating ice cream in the evenings I like ice cream but it more fun to eat with Brooks around.

I have been helping Mom did in our garden while she is planting vegetables and flowers in our flower beds. It is fun until she makes me take a bath and clean-up.

Hallie and I have been playing together, I get to see her often.

We at the Grizzly Report want to wish Cody and belated Happy Birthday. We hope you had fun and had a great special day.
