Subject: Father's Day 2016 Annual Car Show Was Awesome

The weather couldn't have been more perfect on Sunday, June 19,
2016 for the Annual Father's Day Car & Truck Show we attend
each year. This year's show was especialy neat because it happened
one day after Mark's dad's June 18th birthday!

The weather was hot, temps. in the mid-80s but, a great crowd was
on hand roaming to the show grounds. We didn't hear a final tally
but, the show officials were expecting 700-800 antique cars and
trucks. Each person entering an entry received a DASHBOARD
PLAQUE and the following awards were presented to members
of our families:

Mark's grandpa won 1st Place OLDEST ANTIQUE TRUCK AWARD for
his 1929 Ford Pickup Truck.

Mark's dad won 1st Place Best of Show with his 1967 Ford Mustang
in the 1966-67 years group.

Mark won 1st Place Award with his 1976 Ford Mustang-Cobra II
convertible voted BEST MUSTANG CAR in the 1976-77 years
group.

Drew's dad took Second Best Award with his 1967 Ford T-Bird.

Jake's Dad entered his 1977 Pontiac TransAM but, didn't get
enough votes to win a 1st Place award but, enjoyed showing
his car.

Sean's Dad entered his 1965 Ford Fire Bird, but didn't win an
award but enjoyed showing his car.

Cody's dad won OLDEST CORVETTE AWARD with his
1962 Corvette car.

Hunter & his Dad didn't have a car to enter at the show but,
are looking for a car or truck to enter next year. They had
lots of fun at the show.

All of us had lots of fun at the Car Show, including our
Moms, grandmas, grandpas and our girlfriends, too.

After the Car Show everyone went to Mark's grandparents'
(his dads folks) farm to enjoy a late afternoon BBQ with a
great variety of foods to eat. We continued to celebrate
Mark's dads Birthday but, the real celebrating was done
the day before on Sat., June 18 when everyone went to
the Minor League Baseball Park that Mark, Drew, Jake,
Sean, Cody & Hunter and their girlfriends work at; watch
US work, enjoyed some great ball park food and our Minor League
Baseball Team won their game. It was announced over the
Public Address System and Big Billboard in the stadium
about it being Mark's Dads Birthday.

After the game everyone went to Mark's grandparents Farm
for a bonfire, roasting hotdogs and making S'mores. (Drew:
Mark made a PIG of himself eating).

It was a great FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND 2016 for our families.
So what did everyone else do to celebrate Father's Day?
