I would like to issue a very urgent warning concerning the use of sleeping pills: the readily obtained varieties are not suitable for assuring a certain death, and are most unsuitable when not used in conjunction with the plastic bag method. It only makes sense to use this method when one can obtain a good sedative such as a barbituate, and accomplishing that is unlikely.

We show him Derek Humphry's latest brochure on the use of plastic bags. Peter reads: "Get two elastic bands just big enough to stretch over the head and sit firmly around the neck:
"Purchase a paper painter's mask from a local hardware store.
"Either purchase an ice bag from a drugstore or put two wet washcloths in the refrigerator for several hours so that they emerge cold and limp.

we’ll have to rely on over-the-counter drugs that are equally as effective if abused correctly. I suggest you take five to ten times the recommended daily dosage of whatever medication you choose. The first 20% should be taken as is and the rest should be crushed or dissolved so that all the drugs hit at the same time. To prevent vomiting you should take an antihistamine an hour before and to prevent second thoughts or pain you should take some alcohol or over the counter painkiller like Tylenol. And to increase your odds of dying you should take some sleeping pills and put a plastic bag over your head tied with a rubber band so that suffocate in your sleep. Leider weiß ich immer noch nicht so recht, wie ich es anfangen soll. Also, manche Methoden scheinen von vornherein aus, da zu unsicher, zu schmerzhaft, zu eklig (wasser, mir ist scheißegal was aus meiner Leiche wird, ich will nur nicht verwesen und eine 3 Wochen später angeschwemmet werden), usw. Die Methoden, die einigermaßen sympathisch klingen, haben auch alle ihre Tücken:

- Knarre: hab ich nicht, weiß nicht, wie ich drankommen kann
- Erhängen: Problem der Fallhöhe, ich wohn in einer Großstadt, kein Wald weit und breit, und selbst im einsamsten Wald können vielleicht Leute sein oder auch nicht (Verwesungsproblem s.o.) Außerdem bin ich etwas dusselig wenn es darum geht, Anweisugen zu verstehen und den ganzen Kram mit Knoten und so. :o
- Tabletten plus Alk plus Tüte: Ich habe widersprüchliches gehört ob normale Schlaftabletten oder Benzodiazepine (ich hab Ativan/Lorezapam da), in dieser Kombination ausreichen, oder ob es unbedingt Barbiturate sein müssen, die sehr schwierig zu bekommen sein sollen.
- Helium oder Kohlenmonoxid: Also, dies scheint mir auch etwas kompliziert zu sein, sowohl von den Sachen die ich alle brauche als auch von der Ausführung (ich hab schon zugegeben, daß ich etwas Probleme habe mit Anweisungen, und manche Aspekte schienen auch wirklich nicht ganz klar zu sein).

Wenn ich es mache will ich es auch richtig machen und nicht in der Klapse landen oder als Krüppel enden oder so. Ich will wirklich, und es kotzt mich an das dies alles so kompliziert ist (dazu kommt ja noch das ganze Theater mit Abschiedsbriefen, sichergehen daß ich nicht zu früh oder zu spät gefunden werde, blabla. Am besten wäre es, wenn es bis nächsten Donnerstag klappen würde, da ich bis dahin ziemlich ungestört bin, aber notfalls geht's auch später; ich will wirklich nichts überstürzen und etwas vermasseln oder so). Nun, kennt sich vielleicht jemand mit den oben beschriebenen Methoden etwas näher aus, so daß wir sie im Detail durchdiskutieren könnten oder so? Vielen Dank. :)
