Subject: Religion v Science

The fact that man has made god in his own image is evedience enough that god is no more that fiction. There are those who will read some abstract line from the "greatest book of fiction" (the bible or derivation thereof) and feel superior or comforted and for those persons i weep. It is so sad that in todays society humankind relies on the same crutches as did our less developed ancestors. The comfort (and lie) that there is some grand scheme and our souls will be privy to all its delights after our earthly bodies are subjected to the rigors of life. This is no more than a tool by which man has used to remain happy when it comes to death, it is an unnaccepting and weak mind who cannot take truth, and hence most of you loyal religious followers have these exact traits. Stop by a church sometimes and see who the congregation is mainly comprised of: old dying, young being forced by adults, and those who are just sheep to the same pressures placed upon them by their parents and peers. It is just an organized and developed cult. The shmame is that some of the most educated people I know are not able to remove themselves of this vice due to deep mental seeds planted by their parents and sowed by the mass media/public, and fed by fears (of death and mainly life).
There is so much that is wrong with religion let alone organized religion that words cannot express how liberating the feel of being in control of ones self really is!!!!!!!
