Subject: " A belief is what we accept as truth"

Hi!
I'm aswell as all you guys an IB student who are struggling to answer this quote " A belief is what we accept as truth" J.W Apps. What I can't figure out is who the H-ll we are expected to write 1400-1600 words on this specific claim... I have really started to write, but now as I consider myself finished I only have 600 words...And this is my problem. I can't really see what should be included in this essay, and where to get all the material. Are you just supposed to get everything from the top of your head or what?! If someone's got a good source of information concerning this topic, I would be more than grateful for some info about that!!! please help!
