We also have to realise that if the country doesn't have guns, criminals can't get them. Take a look at Britain, low crime rates, less murders per amount of people. If the regular man would result to black market buying then, why does one need a gun so bad? Most of it stems from a machoisim you have to admit. Plus guns along time ago were used for hunting, we don't need to hunt. Food is available. Unless someone lives in a cabin miles from civilasation, I don't understand the need for guns. You have to admit Check, just think about it. Less kids would be dead and there would be less crime. If the theif or murderer doesn't have a gun the normal person most likly has a better chance of surviving. 1. Because most criminals wouldn't want to take the risk. 2. They would have to use a knife or some such, were as the owner of the house has dozens of knives in the kitchen. There's one point I want to make before I leave. "Even if you have a gun, the chances of you actually needing it are as much as being stuck by lightning. And when you do use it, you'll regret it."
