Raksha returned her mate's affections, nuzzling against him with the greatest of affection. She chased him off the eggs, though. They were hers!
She studied the young woman. She would certainly be good for her daughter, but there was one small consideration. The eggs are not ready to hatch. I do not want to loose sight of my gold egg. You will stay to wait? This was her second clutch, but her first gold egg. She really didn't want to loose it until it was ready.
