The bronze landed, and his tall rider walked up. "Hi," he said pleasantly. "My brown flew your green. May I congratualte you on a fine clutch?"
He listens for a minute to his brown, and exclaimed to him,[]Kier! How rude! Don't you know any better![]
To the girl, he said, " I'm awfully sorry. He usually waits, but he asked for an egg. I don't really need another egg, but he won't stop talking about it. So, would there be any chance of getting possibly the last egg left? I don't really mind if someone takes the last two, but he insists I ask at least that."
