A large, grown brown lands quietly on the beach a distance away from the commotion. His rider looks at him in something like amazement. "Uh.....Virth?" He asks, jumping down from the straps and eyeing his dragon oddly.

I thought a little hatchling might cheer you up, seeing as how I'm terrible at it. Virth says, giving him a small shove in the nest's direction.

"Cheer me up? Oh, well..." He looks at the small boy standing off to the side and then at the group of people surrounding the shining mother. "She looks a bit crowded, I don't want to add to that. I'll just wait until she has time and breathing room. Nothing worse than an angry mother flit."

Whatever you say. There are alot of weyrlings out there. Virth muses mildly as S'arn observes each pair in turn. And one for the future, as well. Nodding mutely, the brownrider pulls his gloves off and checks his pockets to make sure he had ample supplies of meatrolls. Just in case.
