Can you do it, this time? It just keeps getting buried under those quick I-don't-have-time-to-look-at-lower-posts-because-I-can-only-be-on-for-2-minutes posts. Sooo...

Proposition: Why doesn't each green or queen have their own thread on the Flight Air? That way, maybe like...five flights could be going on simultaneously. They would all be greens except for maybe one queen during the five. And as soon as one flight ends, another can begin, no? And of course, gold flights only begin after the other gold flight ends. If golds mated more frequently, this could have another proposition: In real Pern not every clutch has a queen egg. So why don't some queens just not lay a queen egg? That would mean more boy Candidates (not so many girls trying for the queen egg), and with other golds mating more frequently, then their would be queen eggs soon, and there wouldn't be a problem with some queens not laying a golden egg. If it's a first flight, I think that every gold should get to lay at least one gold egg. But Ginny, maybe you should limit it...cause soon the Weyrs'll have too many queens. Now of course, I'm already a goldrider, so it IS kinda unfair of me to say that...other people should have chances too...I'm just saying maybe once in a while when there are a lot of clutches. What I mean is that Prideth (Kylara), had a clutch of 32 with T'bor's Orth, and not a queen...but there *WERE* 14 bronzes I believe, twice as many as were laid at Ramoth's clutch, but Ramoth had a queen...

Also! Since there are two queens at Igen, maybe when they are adults, one could be relocated to Fort, and manage it until someone adopts Litisha, no? This would mean the Weyr would have an active queen, give another goldrider a chance at management, *AND* give more people time to apply for the queen (Litisha in this case). Sooo...well, post opinion-tays!
