Mmm...especially at a time like this. Clutching is important in a youngster's life.

And be a broody female who fusses over her nest all day? Never. He says with a snort, murumuring to Leth. Really, they can be quite extraneous sometimes.

"Granted they do, seems they draw quite a few girls and lads, eh?" He elbows R'nos in the shoulder, a sly grin on his features. "But we have nothing to worry about, 'cept scouting out a possible new score of Riders." He turns thoughtfully to the clutch once more. "In this clutch lies the future of Pern, like in every clutch. I'm sure Kylith is a proud mama now."
