Author: Inumé, Cekhennrahaz, Tanikli, and Grottnincé
Subject: (Yes, I am insane)

The four stepped in, each came from a different place, each had their own ideas of what might happen here today. Each was different in every possible way. They hadn't even seen each other ultil they first met in the Candidate's quarters. But they still didn't know much about eachother. Inumé was nearing her 18th Turn. She was a journeywoman for the beastcraft and had a deft hand with animals. Keen green eyes peered across the sands, scanning the multiple eggs. Her bright red hair was held back loosely by a hair tie.

Cekhennrahaz always had a hard time blending in with those of his hold. He was outspoken, like most 15 turn-old boys are, though often clumbsy. With such an outgoing nature he often was the cause of most of the comotion in the small hold he lived in. Nearby stood Tanikli. She was born holdess, the image of the first settlers of Pern. Strongminded, a born leader, and not keen on the idea of giving up. Black hair sharply offset her bright, icy blue eyes her skin was well-tanned from years of traveling under the sun. She'd just reached her 17th Turn and could hardly believe that she was asked to stand upon the hatching sands. Her parents were reluctant to give up their daughter, but they relented.

Grottnincé is an eternal optimist. She had to be, the poor thing has been though a lot in her short 13 Turns. Both of her parents were taken by Firehead when she was 9 and she barely survived the desiese (sp?) herself. There isn't much of a place for a young girl when all of her relatives half a world away. Needless to say she went through a lot in those four years before she came to stand upon these sands.
