"Yeah, I've grown up knowing that. When my brother told me that was where our 'beasts went to, I thought it was one of his jokes. I was...oh...about seven or eight turns then. But I got told different, and I was SO upset at first. How could those gluttonous animals eat all our sweet 'beasts?! It got me so mad, I demanded to see what exactly was eating 'em. And then I saw....it was a green I saw first. Perched against the noon sun on a tower wall, she was. Stretching her wings and getting ready for take-off.I couldn't...couldn't believe my eyes." She grips Channa's wrist and looks earnestly into the other girl's eyes.

"They could eat all the 'beasts in the world, I thought. So beautiful. So strong, and free! And then I learned they could be ridden, and Impressed. And then the games never stopped!" The solemn and somehow piercing intensity is gone from her face and she beams genuinely, releasing the other gilr as an almost after thought.

"Me? Impress a Queen? That would....that would be like a dream on top of a dream. So unbelievable, my heart would stop on the Sands! You'd have to revive me so I could get back to my egg sitting. Which might be best to leave to an expert." She nods pointedly at Kylith. "Humans are meant for Impressing, not flight. Or clutching." The haze leaves her eyes and she beams. "We can be nervous together, but you've the advantage. I have no notion how to proceed and behave at these things, see. I've only pretended." Suddenly she feels a pang in her stomach and grimaces.

"Ach! It's been ever since I ate my last couple wheat traveler cakes, and now my stomach is mad at me." Suddenly a sly grin comes across her face. "Sounds kinda like a dragon!I thought I saw a place for food, I might head over there before the Hatching starts. D'you want to come, or should I bring back food for everyone?" She inquires, tilting her head to study her newfound friend.

((Yeah, 's my sister's name, she can be a pain though, which is unfortunate. It's just kind of funny, huh? I love Saturdays, just to let everyone know! Whoo hoo!))
