"I think I might be crying if this is as wondrous as it sounds. If I Impress, I might just start sobbing. And when you and Kalya do, I know I'll have to do something!" Again she studies her brother as he speaks with Jenna, and a shrewd, almost calculating look comes to her.

"Alarak never leaves anything undisturbed. He's a heartbreaker and a total flirt, but he's very nice and can be sincere. He also has the worst memory of anyone I know. Besides me of course." She beams and her gaze turns again to Channa. "And where exactly did S'sha take you? Like that's any of my business, of course.It's just that we thought you'd been done for!" Smiling, she brushes strands away from her forehead with a trembling and slightly pale hand. The excited anticipation was getting to her too, drawing out her emotions one by one. The jittery knot of nerves rattles unconcernedly and she giggles to mirror the nervousness cavorting inside her heart and stomach.
