Subject: The girl of sixteen turns enters the sands.

The soles of her feet grow hotter upon the hot sands but she does not fidget. Instead, she simply keeps her eyes upon the now soft shells of the eggs... wondering if there was a dragon out there who would choose her to be her partner for life. She remembers courtesy and bows to both Weyrwoman, Weyrleader, and Queen Dragon. And with that, she begins to walk around...

Everything was happening so quickly! Candidates and dragonlings joining together as one! She had seen many hatchlings, and had run forward to help them, but was too late... the young hatchling would be impressed by another.

White robe flowing she wanders to another egg, she watches it calmly, deciding to wait for it to hatch... perhaps her future was inside of it? She gets shoved aside as the green hatches from the egg. Another girl impressing the young creature.

With an annoyed glance the girl stands back up to her feet and dusts herself off. Dragons wouldn't choose a dirty candidate... at least, that's what she'd been told. She continues walking around, calmly looking from hatchling to hatchling... simply wondering... Could one of these creature's ever choose me?
