Author: S'sha and Kylith
Subject: *The still-broody queen glances around, her whirling eyes taking note of the dwindling number of Candidates.*

*Alerted by her dragon's concern, the Weyrlady also scans the Grounds. "Oh my." Hazel eyes narrow thoughtfully and she counts. "Even if every Candidate here Impresses, that'll leave 7 eggs alone!" Her hand goes to her heart, an unconscious gesture that catches Kylith's attention. The massive, wedge-shaped head looks up. More will come, she says confidantly. My clutch is of the best. They know this. More will come. Pride shines through in the queen's mental tone and encourages her rider, just as her bugling encouraged her offspring. "You're right, Kylith." In a quieter tone, S'sha adds, "You have to be." Once more, the goldrider's gaze is drawn to the mostly-hidden egg behind the queen's bulk. It was alone, separated from the rest of the clutch, and far too big to logically be a bronze egg... yet smaller by the same distance than the dully gold egg. How odd. You will see when the time comes, O impatient one, her queen chides gently, though by all appearances dangerous if any Candidate comes too close to the gold egg. Shaking off the brief sense of worry, S'sha resolves to enjoy the rest of the Hatching, trusting fate to bring the required Candidates in time to Impress.*
