She slices a thin piece of roast herdbeast with her belt knife and places it on her plate, then spears several roast tubers. Supplementig it with a slice of fresh bread and sn apple, and pouring herself a small glass of benden white, she sips elegantly, then begins to eat, beginning with the tubers. Casting a concernd glance at Alara, she says nothing more to the effect of the rider's exhausted appearance.
