This is the Weyr itself. Nearly anything can be done here, including all the normal activities that all dragonriders perform. Hatching Feasts are held here, as well as the rare Gather that a Weyr may host. Business meetings are performed here, as well as this being the place most visitors to the Weyr arrive.

The blue haired girl, asleep in her chair, snoozing Eirath besid eher, awake long after most people have left. She shakes her head, drowsily, getnly picking up Eirath, who protested mildly before dozing back off. Angele grins, as she spots another sleeping girl there.
Nikki.
'Angele let go of one hand, briefly, using it to shake her cousin awake. "Hey! Kiki! Wake up! Time to go."
Mumbling. "Mom...I dunt wanna...just five more minutes..."
Angele grinned, taking the opportunity to shake the girl harder.
Nikki came to with a start, Rettath awakening with her.
"Wha? Wha? I'm awake! I'm awake! Angele? What are you doing here? Where are the others?"
Angele grinned. "Left. It seems we two are the only ones here. I suggest heading back to the barraks, cousin."
Eirath nodded, smiling politely. Sweet dreams, Rettath and rider, Nikki.
Rettath snorted, trailing behind her owner as she left.
The room wa solitary, except for rider and dragon alone.
And soon, they too, wandered off to the barracks, tired and ready to call it a night, but not before taking a cold cup of klah. n_n

*Stepping lightly and strangely nervous, Channa enters the Weyr. Wrelth nudges her arm lightly, his eyes whirling a dazzling pastel green. Don't worry. You look fine. -I am NOT used to wearing a dress, dear heart.- You look fine. Clad in a simple, midnight blue dress, the slim girl matches her dark blue dragonet perfectly, although the sand-brown flit on her shoulder admittedly clashes. Spotting her sister, she grins broadly and waves, before locating her friends. Kadoth and Layath and Shrineth - where is Maisath? -I don't know. I hope she'n Caen get here soon!- As do I. I like your friends. "Why on Pern are Kalya and Wessae sitting apart?" she muses quietly, pausing and rather undecided as to where to sit. Come on. Wrelth steps behind his lifemate and pushes her towards Wessae and the strange bronzerider. "Oh Wrelth..." Sit. "Yes sir," she laughs, pulling up a chair next to Wessae and Shrineth, as well as near Kalya and A'rak (I think). Wrelth, smug, settles himself down nearby. A cheeping Seye communicates his hunger, and Channa daintily feeds him a few of the provided meat scraps. "Thoughtful of the cooks," she comments, before grinning at her friends. Addressing the stranger, she smiles. "Hi! I'm Channa, this is my blue Wrelth, and the hungry flitter is brown Seye." Inspecting the food, she grins, and settles for a cup of klah for now.*

In a flurry of emerald pinions, the pair land. -- T'yin and Viouth, 22:44:17 12/22/01 Sat
Go enjoy yourself, T'yin. I wish to meet some new dragons. I know very few of them now. The green nudges her rider forward, eyes whirling calmly. "All right, Viouth," he murmurs, stepping into the light of the Weyr and blinking several times. Dressed in a simple tan tunic and boots, the rider of 17 Turns isn't fancy, though this is the best he owns. Blinking icy blue eyes, he flicks sandy brown hair out of his face and strides forward. He quickly spots Wessae and A'rak, not to mention the Weyrlady and Weyrleader. Bowing shallowly to the latter pair, he glances at the array of steaming food. Eat, T'yin. ~I'm not hungry.~ At least get klah. ~Alright...~ The young greenrider pours himself a mug of the steaming drinking, taking a seat by himself and sipping the liquid.

Clothed in a rather simple dress of deep hazel, she and her little company enter. -- Wessae~Shrineth~Doe, 21:17:50 12/22/01 Sat
"We're not late, guys! Look!" She points to the array of food, excitedly clapping her hands. Doe swoops in, her demeanor overwhelmed by all the fun. Striding in further, she spots Kalya and waves. Another wave goes to Channa's sister, and the Weyrleader before she slides into a seat near her friend. Shrineth struts over, surveying everything in a rather dignified way that makes her rider chuckle softly.

This should be interesting.

"And I'm sure that A'rak and Channa will show up, knowing A'rak never dresses for the occaision." She remarks with a somewhat affectionate smile. "And I hope the others get here." She looks pointedly at the food, snatching a roll in the manner used when dealing with swift siblings.

What're you doing that for? The gold inquires, cocking her elegant head. There's plenty to eat for everyone.

"I'm just used to sharing a table with five hungry boys and a working herder, you get habits that way." She says, nibbling on the roll. "Let's see...what's good to eat here?" Doe lands beside one of the flit plates, cooing her bliss and proceeding to eat daintily.

The blue haired girl enters, sitting down, Eirath curled upon her lap. She smiles, looking around for a friend.
Eirath was busy looking at the food, grin on his face. He sneezed, then licked his lips. Food. I am hungry....he sang in his musical voice.
Nikki entered, her newly hatched Rettath following behind her. She looked around, looking for any interesting people to sit with. Stop. It can't be...Angele? Her eyes widened, pupils going wide and cattish.
"But, you're underaged! What are you doiung here?!" she called out, and Angele found herself looking up from her spot.
"Nikki?....DUDE! You Impressed!"
Nikki scowled. "Don't you know this is for the new Weyrlings, Angele. No matter how much you want to write, you can't attend the Hatchling Feast..."
Angele smirked impishly, patting eirath on the head, who instantly sat up. "Who said I was here to watch, cousin?"
Again, Nikki doubled over in surprise. "...you Impressed?"
The blue haired girl nodded, grinning like a chessy cat. "Meet Eirath. He's mah baby."

Kalya walked ahead, beckoning on Layath and Caer. Caer swooped in first, diving around the feast, looking around for some food that would suit a flit.
"No, Caer. Wait for everyone else."
Caer chirped despairingly, and flew back to perch on Kalya's shoulder, as Layath walked in.
Where shall we sit?
Kalya looked around, and picked a random chair.
That one. she said, pointing it out.
Layath walked over and sat beside it, leaning regally back on her haunches. Kalya walked over, with Caer nearly fidgeting to death trying to get the food, but having to obey Kalya's command.
It smells good.
Interesting, Lay, that you like our food.
Well, it smells good to you, so shouldn't it smell good to me?
That does make sense.
Kalya sat down at the chair, and started to fidget herself as she smelled the various aromas protruding from the table. Oooh...it smells so good!
Caer chirped his evident agreement, and Layath turned towards the flit.
He is hungry too.
Of course! Flits'll eat a variety of different things...I think.
Dragons are better.

Hatching Feast! -- Cooks, Drudges, 18:26:01 12/22/01 Sat
*A horde of drudges scurry in, setting up long, cloth-covered tables and comfortable benches, as well as chairs for WingLeaders and the Weyrwoman and 'Leader. Small pots, filled with meat scraps, are set at various places on each table for those riders with hungry flits, each pot enough to feed one flit to the utmost. Setting up a temporary 'oven', the cooks keep the various foods warm, and on one noticeably huge table, they've set up something of a buffet line, where each rider can fill their plate of the delectable foods prepared. Included are meatrolls, fishrolls, salted fish, dried jerkey, various imported cheeses, the universal klah, a limited amount of wine, Benden white, a heaping amount of bubbly pies, meaty and vegetable stews, and other soups. Fresh bread has been baked and fresh fruit also supplied by a few kind Dolphineers down at Southern. This looks to be a feast of the best kind, for both new and old riders!*

Aghath glides towards her and Alara's weyr, then lands on the outcropping. Alara lowers herself onto the stone floor, tired. She stumbles to the couch she and her green share, and, without changing, falls onto it. Aghath, who's hide is a dull green instead of it's healthy dark shade, takes a small leap, and lands next to her rider. She curls around herself and Alara. Both fall quickly into sleep, unaware of the goings on at the Sands.

The slightly small blue lands, bending a forearm to allow his rider to neatly dismount. Looking about at her new Weyr, she smiles softly to herself.

She grins as she mentally "sees" Cilath curl up, exhausted, on a sunny ledge, then enters the main weyr, her jade green eyes looking about for any sign of T'ren or S'sha.

After being gone for so long, the greenrider returns, a dozing bronze flit curled in her arms. She glances around for S'sha, feeling rather conspicuous� she wasn't sure if she would be welcomed back or not...

{OOC: Ermm... I just got Rhi' from the Lost Souls, but I didn't know her all too well... Can anyone fill me in on what she looked like, etc? I think I'll go look at her hatchling post, but any info would still be nice...}

Long black hair tied back in a ponytail, the lean bluerider looks around. "It's been a long time."

Yes.
-Go ahead and go to the Bowl, I want to do some catching up.-

The young man of 20 Turns smiles, glancing about him. This area seems deserted... should he wait, or head to the Table for a bite to eat? His face slips into a calculating expression, before nodding to himself and deciding to stick around for a little while. "Hmm... things've changed," he says quietly, making his way a little farther along idly.

Inum� walked out into the central part of Igen Weyr. Nerth was not far behind her and chirped in an eager, low-crooning sort of way. /Trethi/help/ the brown sent Inum� eagerly. "Okay, I take it Trethi will clutch soon. You can go help her deliver two of those special eggs she'll lay! Remember, a bronze for Thaia and a...green, I think for whoever flew Trethi." /Lexa's/Dusk/ "Ah, Lexa's brown Dusk. I think she was on the Hatching Sands with Thaia, was she not? Hmm, that'll make 'em easier for you to deliver, eh Nerth?" The brown chirped to show his understanding, than disappeared between.

~Has Trethi clutched?~ Shenth wanted to know. "Not yet, but tomorrow morning, I think?" ~Good. I like Nerth and Trethi. They don't understand like I do, but they are friendly. I'm glad that others will have the joy of having one.~ "'Gree with you completely, Shenth. Where do you want to go?" ~Hmmm...would you like to see Tanikli? She's one of the people who came with you to Impress.~ "Good idea, Shen. Let's see if we can find 'er."

Ralkene walks into the main weyr, flicking her hair behind one shoulder and looking around intently for S'sha. Not seeing her she bespeaks her green. Kiarath love, could you ask Kylith to tell S'sha that we'd like to speak with her? Tell her it's Ralkene and Kiarath, and compliment her on the clutch.

The green took a few moments to gather her thoughts, and then spoke to the great queen.
~Kylith, my rider, Ralkene, wishes to present her congatulations on your clutch. We also wish to speak with the Weyrwoman, and apologize if this inconveniences her. We can wait, though you may tell her it involves a question about Searching. Thank you.~
Ralkene chose a chair and leaned back against a wall, crossing her legs as she waited for the Weyrwoman's arrival. I hope it wont be too long...

THOSE OF PALIRTH'S CLUTCH WILL BAG FIRESTONE. GO GO GO! Left behind after the deafening message is only silence. What are you waiting for!?*

J'nka, we are home! Finally, Igen is back.
A calloused hand ruffles the Greenriders blonde hair, as the other, whose looks bear a strange resemblelance to his companion also replies.
True as that is, little sister, I do miss Ista Weyr.
Lean masculine walks into the Weyr with his sister. Upon finding the Weyrleader and Weyrwoman, each bow deeply, and J'nka is the first to speak nodding to eah as he addresses them.
Hello, Weyleader, Weyrwoman. I am J'nka rider of the Bronze Narcisth, and this is my sister rider of the Green Hilth. Our dragons were both Htached here, but when Igen was 'abandoned' we left to another Weyr. We now ask your permission to return.*~

~*Blue dragon lands lithely near the rim, calling a greeting to those he recognized, holding still as his youthful rider dismounts. A blue firelizard flit out of between landing on the boy's shoulder, curling its tail around his neck, tightly.
Leave off me, Jax, not so tight!
The large Blue snorts, eyes swirling dangerously, at the firelizard, which had so often bothered him. Small firelizard 'hisses', going between as Am'roq rubs at his neck.
Wonder whats got him so worked up... do you think he saw Exquisite?
He added with a note of excitement that was quickly dimmed, as Vaeth's massive pate shook in a silent 'no'. Hope died from the boy's face, he had had only one friend, and she was gone, turning to the Weyr, he perks up meagerly, not wanting to seem sad. Waiting until the other two were done speaking to the Weyrwoman and Weyrleader, he steps foward.
I ask admittance into this Weyr, I am Am'roq, rider of the Blue Vaeth.*~

~*A speck on the horizon soon becomes a Brown dragon, that lands near the entrance of the Weyr, glances thrown to the other dragons, as rider dismounts very slowly, favoring one of his legs. Brown dragon looks with concern to his rider, as the male limps slowly, leaning against him towards the Weyr, soon using his large firelizard, Myak, to help hold him up. Straightening slightly as he reaches the Weyrleaders, he leans against a wall, breathing hard from exertion; it had been a suprise that he had Impressed at all, much less anything more than a Blue, people with a crippled leg did not usually gain much in life. Standing straighter, using his balance against the wall to imitate a straight stance, without a shorter leg, though not intending to trick the weyrleaders, he bows slightly.

**The older one looks down at her sister with a tolerant grin as Kayet recites every single thing about her green Myath, whom is perfect in every way she can think of. Pushing the rider onto a bench so she'd stop walking so quickly to accompany her rambling tone, Resa shakes her head. The only person she could never rebuke or be angry at was -and is- her little sister. Kayet continues. "...and her hide is smooth because I oil it so often and it shines so green in the sun and..." Resa blinks as four flizards blink from between, and Kayet looks up for a moment, offering each meat from a pouch at her belt, without stopping her words of praise for Myath. "...and right now she's hunting, in fact she's hunting with your Anraeth, and she's not running them but is going to choose in a moment and..." Resa's grey eyes shine with amusement at Anraeth's complain that the younger green was scaring the herdbeasts. Kayet continues speaking, adding hand gestures with florishes to her words, and Resa simply relaxes.**

She takes out the large egg gently, placing it in a basket of heated sand. "Okay Aghath! Here we go!" Her other flit, brown Daystar hums softly, indicating the egg was about to Hatch. He perches on her shoulder, rubbing against her neck. "And a new friend for you, Daystar!"
A bronze head pokes through the top of the egg, and she holds out a bit of meat. Creeling with hunger, he pushes away the shards, and eats it the meat, immediatly sending the feeling of hunger. Grinning, she feeds him more. When he falls asleep, Daystar lands next to him, and pushes the bronze with his nose, then flies away to Aghath.

A young girl slides off of her green dragonet.

*Ow! Watch it!*

"Sorry. But what'd I do?" She sweeps her eyes over the green dragon.

She winces. *My hide hurts, and so does my stomach. You riding on me doesn't help.* She shifts uncertainly. *I'm hungry, too.*

She laughs. "Oh, I can help you with that!" She and Palth walk to a table and grab some things to eat. Maia eats a sandwich; Palth inhales some other grub. Maia turns to her dragon after eating. "C'mon, let's get you oiled. You're skin's cracking a bit."

*Okay, that might help.* She follows her.

Maia grabs some oil and massages it on her hide for a few minutes, then stands back. "Better?"

She grins. *Yup!*

Maia hugs Palth, her arms around the dragon's neck. She then sits next to her. "So, now what do we do from here on in? Now what?"
