Subject: Rider-To-be (or not)

Aylana walked into the hatching grounds, and winced on every step as she made it towards the other candidates. Her white robe was around her, but it didn't help with the heat. She had boots on but it still went through.

Finally, she reached the other candidates. As she took her place, she wondered if she would be chosen; She WAS 15, but would a dragon except her??

The humming broke her chain of thoughts and she watched dragons hatch. She was here, but was she rider worty for the almighty dragons?
