Subject: Elegance and Beauty (Nuber Three!)

While the crowd was watching the green be led away by her new rider, some of the people in the stands clapping, some cheering – another egg began to come to life.

Grenith paid the same amount of attention to this one. It was bound to be another daughter, with the green colour of the shell, and the green was keen to have female offspring. So she rolled it gently before her, her tail still wrapped around the remaining eggs, and flicked her tongue against it in encouragement.

The egg needed no more support! With a cry of happiness from the hatchling inside, a green head emerged from the hard white shell and looked around. Not needing any help, she freed the rest of her elegant body and rose to her paws, aware of the eyes on her.

As well she should be. Her hide was a beautiful, soft shade of green – with a little blue thrown into it, so it was almost dark aquamarine. The way she moved was graceful and the way she turned her head with a soft curve of her pretty neck spoke of vanity. She knew she was lovely.

{Synthis?} A clear, pure soprano rang out as her eyes met those of her chosen rider. {I am Xiualith! You can't speak? It doesn't matter! I will be your voice!}
