Author: T'll, rider of blue Maxorth
Subject: No you don't know what it's like

When nothing feels all right

T'll walks into the Lower Caverns rather hesitantly, his left arm bound up in a sling, and wearing new clothes that didn't fit. His shirt was stretched really tight across his chest, uncomfortably. His trousers were so loose that his belt, the patched, worn, and slightly torn leather snake that he had worn since he Turned sixteen, crumpled the waistline to keep them on. He wore no boots like the other riders, instead, he wore the 'comfortable' shoes that most riders preferred to use when just in his weyr. They didn't fit him, so he walked awkwardly.

You don't know what it's like

Maxorth, are you comfortable? T'll's face had the far-away, unfocused look that most riders wore when talking to their dragon as he served himself some cold soup.
There was no response from the blue. T'll tried to tell himself that it wasn't a big deal, that he should be glad that Maxorth was healing, but he couldn't help but feel crestfallen. He was so scared!

To be like Me

He couldn't see any emtpy chairs, so he leaned against a wall, supporting his bowl against his sling as he ate it. He halfway hoped that someone would come talk to him, but he also halfway hoped they would all leave him alone.
