As he'd done before, L'andro helps Krystan make her way through the crowd, though it's easier coming than going. Not as many people are trying to get away from the food and the main tables. "I come from a little hold near the old Harper Hall. You wouldn't know it. After the disasters, I traveled around for a long time." Reaching their corner again, he pauses to give the drowsing Sanoth an affectionate scratch, then reclaims his plate. "I had a little sister, but I left my family behind when I started travelling, because they didn't need the extra mouth to feed and I was old enough to take care of myself." Well, he hadn't really been, but he'd survived. It's hard to smile when remembering this, and he quickly hurries on to Krystan's next question. "But no, I didn't have any dragonriders in my family. What about you?" And this is obviously interest, and not just a polite question, as L'andro looks at her with an encouraging smile. His dragon nudges him sleepily, and he quickly begins to eat before Sanoth has to remind him again.
