The sky outside the entrance to the Lower Caverns ripples with the change of physical dimensions, a smooth yellow-bronze muzzle swiftly darting out from the nothingness, and then diving downwards to lead the rest of the muscular draconic body from between. The wrinkles of the air seem to straighten as the forked tail tip arches up and through, Quilth’s bronze maw opening to bugle their arrival as he tilts to the side, unfurled wings catching the bracing updrafts of the nearby Ocean, and carrying the pair to the earth in a deliberately smooth elliptical spiral. The Bronze rights himself easily as ground draws nearer and the turning of the planet speeds his fall, hind legs bending as they connect with the soil first. Gently, he lowers his front-half to the dark earth, and after a few stabilizing steps forward is perfectly still. The lengthy neck arches backwards to watch with a protective green gaze as T’bel slowly rises from his tight crouch between pointed ridges; a toned draconic forearm extends outwards to allow the dexterous DragonRider a way to dismount. Arms outstretched for balance, the pale sea-green human gaze locks firmly onto his precarious, but beloved and trusted, perch, and slowly T’bel slides down into the outstretched hand of his lifemate, crouching down between two massive tendons, and bracing himself as the appendage lowers gently to the ground.

As he steps to the ground, the Bronze rider turns to meet the massive face that he already knew would greet him. He hugs the muzzle tightly as far as his arms will reach, unashamedly sharing a moment of affection with his beloved dragon. A soft croon ripples through Quilth’s form as T’bel then lifts one hand to scratch the nearest bronze eye ridge, and for a long moment both Dragon and Rider just enjoy the other’s touch, draconic eyes half-lidding over their whirling blue hue. Then the eyes widen and shift to a surprised yellow as the well-sculpted face lifts slowly, but deliberately towards the Lower Caverns.

T’bel. You need to go immediately.

The bronzerider’s eyes lift to his lifemate’s, concern flashing swift over the previously serene face.

“Is something wrong?”

No. Something is very right.

“Something’s very… Shards Quilth, what do you mean?”

Do not worry rider mine. You go to the Kitchens, I will summon Datoth and request that he takes W’ren to retrieve your maps.

T’bel nods swiftly, recognizing the firm tone of his lifemate’s voice, and settling himself into a swift jog passes rapidly through the above-ground buildings that lead to the Lower Caverns. Behind him, the sound of wings beating against the air is all the knowledge he needs to recognize his lifemate's departure. Then, focusing on naught but running, T'bel takes the stairs three at a time, stumbling on to the level flooring and careening into the Dining Area.

For a time he just stands there and stares, eyes locked onto the shadows of the past, his past, Wessae’s past… Igen’s past. An instant later and he’s rushing towards them, laughter rushing out in a strange sort of jubilation and relief, words of greeting flowing to each and every Rider he’d never expected to see again until finally he pauses as he sees S’sha at the other end of the table. The broad smile remains just as joyful, but fades from the reflection sheer mirth to the subdued emotion of respect, and remains in such a state even as he bows, and then takes a seat beside Wessae.

His gaze however, does shift to Kain, and though he had always remembered the woman as naturally pale, her current appearance struck an unpleasant chord in the back of his mind. He speaks slowly, trying to choose his words carefully.

"Kain... perhaps more than klah could be of aid to you right now...?"
