Halzay walked around the Lower Caverns almost fretfully, looking around the room wildly. Where was Salzay? If her little four-turn-old daughter was hurt, she'd never forgive herself. Halzay had sent the child out to giev a message to S'peer, Sally's father, without anyone else noticing. However, she now cursed under her breath at the stupidity and carelessnss she'd shown as a mother in this.

'Lizzie? Where is she?'

{Hold on... ok, she got lost. She is with green Grenith's rider.}

'Grenith... I've heard it somewhere. Who's the rider?'

{G'rein.}

'Wait... isn't that...?'

{Yes, love. S'peer's friend.}

Halzay swallowed, but waited where she was, near the entrance of the Caverns. If he was taking her back... maybe that would be the next step in proving to her that times can change?
