Author: [Tsuga]{Alestiath}
Subject: -Socializing isn't really my style.-

Tsuga entered the Lower Caverns reluctantly, fidgeting with the unfamiliar matieral covering her slender frame and frowning at the skirts that repeatedly kicked out in front of her slippered feet. She wasn't precisely scowling as she strolled forwards, though she came close, her eyes distant in the expression of one speaking with her dragon.

[Why, by the First Shell, did I let you talk me into this?]

{Because it's good for you to dress up once in a while. And besides, you need to socialize. You've been a Goldrider for a while now, and you still barely know anyone! You need to start getting your face out there!}

[And just why would I want to do that?]

Alestiath chose that moment to fall silent, and Tsuga could hear her striking up a conversation with one of the blues that had apparrently just landed near her. The brown-haired woman scowled for a moment, and then smoothed her expression over when she realized that she was among people. They did tend to get intimidated when she was scowling - that was never a good sign for anyone, coming from Tsuga. She licked her lips nervously, brown eyes taking in her surroundings, and smoothed down the front of her skirts for the millionth time with nervous hands. She really wasn't used to dressing up, and she felt entirely too uncomfortable in these frilly brown-and-gold layers that made up tonight's dress. While it wasn't particularly fancy, it was as dressy as Tsuga was likely to get.

It was fitted to her frame, with long sleeves, and could have passed for a new work dress - if she had been the type to wear work dresses - in cut, length, and color except for the gold embroidery on the bodice and cuffs and hems. Her hair - which Alestiath had insisted she allow to grow long for this occasion, though she would be allowed to chop it off again right after - was down, though what should have been her bangs, had they not been allowed to grow out, were braided and pulled together at the back of her head to keep the rest of her locks from falling into her face. All in all, she actually looked presentable for once, and as soon as she realized that she was around people, she plastered a smile on her face and began nodding and greeting anyone who spoke to her. After all, if you acted like you were having fun long enough, eventually you'd stop having to act. Or so everyone had always told her. She'd never bothered to put it to the test . . ..

((OOC: Rambly, crappy, and my first post in a long while, but I'm back, if you guys'll take me?~beams~ I have inspiration again (which has been gone all-around for about a year or so), and I hope to be able to get back into the swing of things! So bug me, or ignore me; I'll keep posting either way, even if I have to talk to myself! Hehe!))
