Jesaketh lands just outside the Lower Caverns, and Z'ni clambers awkwardly down from her back with the unconscious Isabel still cradled in his arms. Heading inside, he looks around for someone in authority. A brown firelizard spots him and chirps, darting closer to get a good look at the greenrider before racing away to supervise a group of drudges.

Gisella is in the kitchen, directing the reconstitution of food set aside earlier and the preparation of food that has to be made now, when Ren sends her a sharp image of one of the dragonriders, carrying a bloodied girl in his arms. She hurries out of the kitchens, worry written across her face, and rushes straight over to the young man. "What's wrong?" the Headwoman demands, frowning.

"She was injured on the Hatching Sands. There was a Healer who stitched her up, but she said to find her a room in the Lower Caverns until she could finish - another girl got hurt, too," Z'ni adds by way of explanation. "Er... she's kind of heavy, so if you could just point the way...."

/Tev!/ Gisella calls to her other firelizard, who had been watching the kitchens in her absence, and the second brown appears from between. She stifles a smile of amusement as the boy's gaze darts from Tev in front of him to Ren across the room. Most people don't realize she has two firelizards, since they're identical to everyone but her and they're almost never in the same room together. They're her eyes and ears throughout the Lower Caverns, after all. /Tev, take them to this room./ She gives him a firm mental image, of a room recently vacated by a Candidate she knows has Impressed, having watched him head across the Bowl for food for his hatchling. "Follow Tev," she says briskly, and then turns and rushes off as someone shouts in the kitchen.

"Okay," Z'ni calls to her retreating back, then looks up at the brown firelizard and grins bemusedly. "Lead the way, sir Tev." The firelizard chirps at him and takes off down a hallway carved into the stone, and Z'ni follows, relieved to find that the room he's being taken to isn't too far away. Carefully laying Isabel down on the bed, he waves a hand at the firelizard, who vanishes between with a satisfied chirp, and looks around the room. There's a chair in the corner, and he sits down to wait for the Healer, just in case the girl wakes in the meantime. Maybe if she's lucky, she'll wake soon enough I can get her back to the Hatching. If the Healer can wait until she's cared for the other girl to care for this one, certainly she can wait until this one's Impressed. He hears Jesaketh mutter understanding in the back of her mind, settling down outside just in case she needs to take the both of them back.

((BTW, El, I'd like to apologize for drugging her out of the running [hence giving her a chance to wake up now]. It didn't occur to me until after I did it that you may have had an Impression ready for her. >_< I just looked at "serious abdomen/leg wound" and the part of me that's taking Anatomy class went, "Ow ow owwwww BAD."))
